This is the best way that I know of to stop any problems with crabs. If you are to deep you will know, the crabs will start feeding.
Flounders, surprisingly, will swim quite a long way off the bottom and I have even hooked them whilst winding in, very near the surface.
For that reason, when floating, never wind it in fast. You stand a very good chance of catching one on the way in and you will be surprised how far they will take you down again when they get hooked like this.
Line strengths and hook sizes are the same as the other methods and this method gives the best sport when catching a flounder.

Now I will try to give some tips on four of the harbours in our area.
