BRIEF HISTORY OF DAVID CAINS--JUNIOR SECRETARY--MBAS & LICENSED SEA ANGLIN COACH.
I have been a member of the MBAS since 1976 and over the years have served on the Committee as Chairman,
Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Team Captain.
Currently, I am the President, a Vice President, the Hon. Treasurer and Junior Secretary.
Since joining the MBAS I have also served on several committees of the NFSA.
For three years I was very privileged to be the NFSA Treasurer.
I am currently the Treasurer of the NFSA Cornish Division.
I am also a member of the National Mullet Club as I am a fanatical mullet angler.
Although my main target is the mullet I do fish for other species and have been taking my annual holidays in Guernsey since 1989.
Over the years I have caught many fine specimens on Guernsey and at home and some of the best were as follows:
RED MULLET 1-7-0 BAILLON'S WRASSE 0-5-10 BALLAN WRASSE 6-14-4
TL GREY MULLET 5-6-12 BLACK BREAM 3-15-14
I AM A SEA ANGLING COACH AND HOLD THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATION:
NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SEA ANGLERS--LEVEL 2--CERTIFICATE IN COACHING
ANGLING--SEA ANGLING
License issued by: fishcoach.org--The Coach Licensing Scheme of the Angling Development Board.
